Let’s talk about the role:
We are offering a 3-day week internship for 3-month fixed term contract.
You will be part of the New Business Creation Team located in Sydney Bella Vista, to support the algorithm work for new clinical/product projects.
Let’s talk about Responsibilities
  • Perform signal processing to clean and analyse clinical trial data
  • Writing pattern recognition and classification algorithms to predict clinical events
  • Optimize firmware and mobile application algorithms and ensure accuracy via verification and validation process
  • Carry out formal verification and validation of algorithms for product release

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for someone who is a quick learner, adaptable, and who enjoys working with a team.
  • Current Undergraduate Student in Electrical Engineering/ Data Science/Computer Science or similar
  • Experience in the development of algorithms for biomedical signal processing and pattern recognition.
  • Experience with algorithm development in Matlab, Python or a similar environment.
  • Software skills in a high-level language (C++ preferred but not mandatory).
  • A good understanding of data analysis, statistics, signal analysis, digital signal processing (DSP), pattern recognition and classification.
  • Background in biomedical engineering, medical science or physiology
  • Can commit to work at least 3 days a week
  • Preference will be given to final year students
  • Applicants must have full work rights to Australia
